Part of the funds will go to Hogares Crea
Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic - The company BM Cargo announced the celebration of the 1st BM Cargo Golf Invitational Tournament 2013.
The details were offered during the celebration of a cocktail at the facilities of El Catador de la Ave. Lope de Vega. The event will be held on Saturday, October 18 at The Lakes Golf Course in the Barceló Complex in Bávaro.
Ramses Atallah, President of BM Cargo, said that "the idea comes to us in order to reaffirm the relationships we have with our customers and with the Dominican golf family. In the same way, we take advantage of and extend our hand to an institution that truly needs as Hogares Crea Dominicano, so that they can take their fight against the scourge of drugs further. Leopoldo Diaz, President of Hogares Crea, thanked the company for the support and dedication of the tournament to the institution.
Felix Olivo, Technical Director of the tournament offered the details of the game. "The tournament will be played in modified Stableford format. Category A will start from the blue bases and the rest of the participants will start from the white bases.
We will have a welcome cocktail on Friday 18th at the 19th Hole of the Club starting at 7 pm, where each player will be given their Goodie Bag.
The tournament will have three holes in one: one in the name of Viamar (hole 2), and two in the name of Volvo (holes 9 and 12), and will reward an approach to the flag on the 14th hole and the longest drive on the 16th hole. Olivo pointed out that the leagues have an additional discount and, for those who register before Friday 11, they will be given personalized items.
